A word from our Federal President, Mrs Sylvie Bonnier Garcia:
The French Twirling Baton Sports Federation is pleased to welcome you to the Vendespace in Mouilleron le Captif for this European Championship - EURO 2023 from 13th to 16th July.
Organizing such an event requires an extremely important work of preparation and organization and I thank very sincerely all those who contribute to it: the World Bâton Twirling Federation, the European Commission of Twirling, the region Pays de Loire, the Departmental Council of Vendée, the members of the organizing committee, the elected officials of the departmental committee of Vendée and our partners with the objective that this European championship will be a great festival of our sport and a beautiful meeting between the European sportswomen and men.
I would like to thank Sandi Wiemers and Nicky O'Neil for their confidence, William Midon and Rebecca Salmon for the quality of the work done by the organising committee, Gerard Kuster, Rodolphe Girard and his volunteers for their unfailing commitment, and Yannick Meunier and the Federation's staff for their technical support.
Whether solo, in duet or in team, the athletes will be able to show the best of themselves, to feel a lot of emotions, to meet new people, to forge new friendships and beautiful memories. Coaches, managers, parents and supporters will be able to marvel at the great performances and enjoy the championship to the full.
Ladies and gentlemen, presidents of the European federations, you will find enclosed all the information you will need to make your stay in France a success.
