WBTF IS DEVELOPING A COACHES EDUCATION PROGRAM
THAT WILL CONTAIN FIVE LEVELS OF TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
TO BE PRESENTED OVER A FIVE-YEAR PERIOD.

Below is the Information from the WBTF ETC coaches Education Series.

1. THE 2018 FIRST COACH EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION – LEVEL 1

WBTF will host its first-ever Coaches Certification workshop on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 in Kissimmee, Florida, USA.  This Level 1 workshop is designed to train coaches on how to effectively develop quality twirlers from beginning to elite athletes.

The Level 1 Workshop will cover:  Basic Fundamentals, Warm up, Class structure, and the Six Degrees Progression of Skills Program and Standard Solo

This program is perfect for athletes, coaches and judges to focus on basic technique, fluidity, and rhythm.
• This is a V.I.S (Very Important Step): A reflection today to create quality for the adapted level
• This is perfect for our coaches as the first step to help athletes develop a really strong foundation that will reflect all during the twirler’s competitive life.

Through this workshop, coaches will become a WBTF Level 1 Certified Coach, gaining professional recognition in your country, and the potential to be recommended by the WBTF for future coaching opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 18 years and older
• Coaching and good standing in country – recommended by the country
• Must purchase the WBTF coaches training Program (150 US$) Package which includes the following material:
o Basic skills Certification Program – MP4 file
o Standard Routine Video – MP4 file
o WBTF coaches level 1 Manual (PDF file)
o WBTF coaches Manual Demonstration Video (Basic Twirl) – MP4 file
o Warm up – Demonstration Video – DVD image
o WBTF promotional video – DVD image

• Attendees should be knowledgeable of the training program and familiar with the Six Degrees Program and Standard Solo
• Cost to Register on WBTF Website for the WBTF Coaches Level 1 Workshop:
o 25 US dollars. Education only
o 35 US dollars for certification.

There will be 3 plans offered concerning this workshop:

1)  Education only on 6th and 5th degrees,
2)    Certification on all of the degrees
3)    Team choreography / Artistic expression during Twirl Nation Clinic 
      

Testing for certification involves a written multiple-choice test, a practical exam on examples of proficiency for each degree, for elements and for standard solo, along with some live demonstration regarding teaching skills.   

Coaches who wish to test and receive certification will be classified according to their score.

WBTF INTERNATIONAL COACHES:

The title of WBTF LEVEL 1 INTERNATIONAL COACH will be given to participants scoring between 70% - 84% overall.
• Receiving world level recognition = WBTF Level 1 Certified Coach
• Eligible to participate in the Level 2 education / certification.

WBTF MASTER COACHES:

The title of WBTF INTERNATIONAL COACH LEVEL I CLINICIAN will be given to participants scoring between 85% or higher overall.
• Certified to teach the Level 1 Workshop to coaches all over the world in the name of the WBTF.
 
 Important:

For countries who already have a national certification on level 1 of the Six degrees and Standard Solo routines, WBTF will consider granting them WBTF LEVEL 1 INTERNATIONAL COACH CERTIFICATION if a national diploma can be provided.  This is only valid for Japan, Italy and Germany who use this teaching program in their national system.  

However, to become a WBTF LEVEL 1 INTERNATIONAL COACH CLINICIAN, you must take part in the exam, and score 85%, or above.
